Lindsay Clark


Mrs. Lindsay Clark is the Artistic Director of Tampa Ballet Theatre, and the Owner and Director of Tampa Bay Ballet. She is also the founding President of the Board of Directors for Tampa Ballet Theatre, Inc. a nonprofit 501c3 ballet company.

Lindsay graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts, and attended and performed with many other prestigious schools and companies, some of which include, School of American Ballet SAB, American Ballet Theatre ABT, New York Ballet Institute, Greenville Ballet, Asheville Ballet formerly Land of the Sky Civic Ballet, Charlotte Ballet formerly North Carolina Dance Theatre, Tampa Bay Ballet (TBB) and Tampa Ballet Theatre (TBT).

While Directing TBB and TBT she has restated many classical, neoclassical and original works such as: The Nutcracker, Giselle, Dracula, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Alice in Wonderland, Les Sylphides, Sleeping Beauty, An Evening at the Ballet, Cinderella, and Coppelia, and excerpts from La Bayadere, Les Corsaire, Swan Lake, Esmerelda, Romeo and Juliet and Don Quixote. In addition to regularly scheduled professional performances, the school and company participate in several community events, demonstrations and in house Winter and Summer Intensive Workshops and Performances.

Katharine Kunz

Originally from Virginia, Katharine Kunz began her dance training at the respected Loudoun School of Ballet under Shelia Hoffman-Robertson, Maureen Miller, and Lisa Startsman. Her studies continued at the Joffrey Ballet (NYC), Orlando Ballet, BalletMet Columbus, and Steps on Broadway. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Towson University under the director of Dennis Price, Catherine Horta-Hayden, and Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell among others.


Her performance credits include: Ensemble in Blue ‘n’ Gold (Greenston), Girl in the Red Dress in Frame by Frame (Pikieris), Raymonda in Raymonda Pas de Dix, Pas de Trois in Swan Lake and Sugar Plum in The Nutcracker. In addition, she had the pleasure of performing Brandenburg Concerto (Miller) at the Tanzsommer Dance Festival in Austria. Ms. Katharine has performed with Loudoun Ballet Company, Towson Dance Company, Nancy Romita and the Moving Company, Connecticut Ballet, Dance Cat-aylst (NYC), and The Next Stage Project Choreography Workshop (NYC).


As a seasoned dance teacher, Ms. Katharine teaches ballet, pointe, and modern/contemporary to all ages and received her Pilates Certification from Power Pilates (NYC). She has taught at Loudoun School of Ballet (VA), B. Funk Dance Company (MD), Dramazone (NYC), Steps on Broadway (NYC), and Ballet Academy East (NYC). Presently, Ms. Katharine performs as a Company Artist with Tampa Ballet Theatre.

Anna Smith

Anna Smith began taking ballet classes at the age of 5 in Brandon, Manitoba. She fell in love with ballet and continued her training in Tucson, Arizona at Arizona Ballet Theatre under Cecily Winslow Bressel, Norman Walker, and Rochelle Zide-Booth. After moving to Johnson City, Tennessee, Anna danced with the City Youth Ballet under the direction of Susan Pace White and trained under Pat Holden, graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada and dancer with Memphis Ballet. Anna is a graduate of Mercyhurst University where she received her BA in dance with a choreography concentration. While still in college, Anna was a company member with Lake Erie Ballet where she performed solos in The Nutcracker and various contemporary ballets. Her training also includes summer intensives with Mercyhurst University and Dance Theatre of Tennessee. After graduation, Anna performed with Charlottesville Ballet as a trainee. Anna joined Tampa Ballet Theatre in 2016 and is excited to begin her third season performing with the company!

Heather Mills

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio Heather Mills grew up studying with renowned artists and teachers including Artour Bajanov, of the Moscow Ballet Theatre, Bashkirian State Ballet and Bolshoi; Karen Gabay and Raymond Rodriguez of Ballet San Jose and Joanne Morscher of North Coast Ballet Theatre. Furthering her education she studied around the country at BalletMet, American Ballet Theatre  and Point of Departure, as well as participating in several youth ballet companies.

Heather received a dance scholarship to attend Mercyhurst College where she earned her BA in Dance Management in 2011 under the direction of Tauna Hunter. While at Mercyhurst she fostered her love of jazz, modern and contemporary styles, which she continues to use today. Upon graduation she went on to dance professionally with The Ballet Theatre Maryland in Annapolis for three seasons under the direction of Dianna Cuatto. In 2014 Heather moved to Florida to join Tampa Ballet Theatre. In addition to dancing with the company Heather also takes on the role of Development Manager and was promoted to Company Ballet Mistress in 2017.  Heather has taught at many schools around the country including Tampa Bay Ballet, the Official school of Tampa Ballet Theatre.

Professionally, Heather has performed multiple roles in classical, neo-classical, and contemporary works such as Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and The Beast, Coppelia, Dancing Princesses, Firebird, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Primal Dreams among others.  Some of Heather’s favorite roles to date include the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, Juliet from Romeo and Juliet, Lucy from Dracula, and Giselle from Giselle.

Vashti Walters

​Vashti Walters began her dance training at the age of 13 at a recreation center in Richardson, Texas. A few months later, she began training seriously at Tuzer Ballet with Tanju and Pat Tuzer, former dancers of the Harkness Ballet, where she received many opportunities, including performing in the Nutcracker. She was also selected to perform in a Turkish folk-dancing group called Rakkas Dance led by Onur Kasaburi. In 2016, she moved to Florida and joined Tampa Ballet Theatre as a trainee. She spent the 2017-2018 season as an apprentice, and is now promoted to company. Vashti has enjoyed performing roles in The Nutcracker, Dracula, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty. She attended Ballet Magnificat's 2015 summer intensive, as well as Tampa Ballet Theatre's 2017 summer intensive and has auditioned and been accepted into the Kirov Academy of Ballet and Ballet Austin's summer intensive programs. Vashti loves teaching ballet, and enjoys working with many different ages and skill levels.
